About this event

Phil Fox (40) is a Chicago-based ultracyclist attempting to set the world record cycling around Lake Erie. On Saturday June 3rd, he will start at the Ambassador Bridge and traverse through Ontario, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan in one shot. 620 miles (1000 km), non-stop. No sleep. He has dedicated this effort to Bike MS and the fight to end multiple sclerosis.

In 2009, Phil’s two best friends were diagnosed with multiple sclerosis - that summer, he joined in the Bike MS: Tour de Farms event in DeKalb, IL and rode his first 200km ride. Since then, Phil and his team have raised over $200K for the National MS Society
