To celebrate the close of my 70th year I will be climbing a mountain and I ask you to help me raise loads of money for St Michaels Hospice in Hastings where two of those friends were helped and cared for. On the 11th of August I will set off from Malaucene in Provence to walk the thirteen miles up Mont Ventoux, climbing to a height of 1912 metres (1mile) at the finish.
