Why we built this

Activity Insights will power our workout analysis feature, giving you personalised feedback after every session. Starting off with photo captions felt like a natural first step. Now both features speak to you in the same voice - your voice.

We specifically trained Activity Insights to avoid generic sports marketing language. No forced enthusiasm. No “crushing it” unless that’s genuinely how you communicate.
The AI focuses on what’s actually visible in your photo - the conditions, the terrain, the time of day, the weather. It understands cycling language, running terminology, hiking context. And it describes things honestly, in a way that matches your preferred style.
If you’re the type who keeps captions short and technical, Activity Insights won’t suddenly get flowery on you. If you prefer detailed, reflective descriptions, it won’t give you three words and an emoji.

You can edit the caption if you want, or use it as-is. Tap “Try Again” if you want a different option. It’s that flexible.
